For starters I want to tell you that the number of eggs used depends on how much everyone wants.

For starters, wash the eggs very well with detergent, rinse them well and then boil them in water with a little salt. Let them boil very well to become strong.

Separately heat another amount of water that we add over each color of paint in which we add 3 teaspoons of vinegar. I used 4 colors of paint. Place a parsley leaf over the eggs and put each egg in the sock and tie it well and add them to each paint as desired.

We take them out of the painted water and let them dry, then remove the sock and grease them with oil to give them shine. We place them beautifully on a plate and we are waiting for the Resurrection of the Lord!

Painted Eggs - Recipes

A recipe from The Country of Cuisine
by Alice Ciobanu

Painted eggs minions or how we paint petite eggs. That's what today's post is called. It is true that maybe an article about how to paint Easter eggs as naturally as possible, or the most authentic recipe for painting eggs from Burebista's aunt's time would have been much more attractive. But, bad luck! I don't have that. We did not cook at home, we did not keep the recipe and I do not have any museographer in the family. So now I offer you a fun and funny idea on how to have fun one day with your friends. I didn't have this idea, but Miruna. He saw a video on the net showing someone painting eggs in minion and said & # 8222let's do it too, mom& # 8222. So we did yesterday. She did almost all the work, that is, the part with painting and decorating the eggs. Even on the shooting side, when I told her that I couldn't figure out how to make those eggs look cool in the pictures, she was also the one who saved the situation. Said: Well, it's simple, Mom. We need some kind of basket, a basket of eggs, if we don't have something like that. And I have a bunny, it's just that it's not made of paper. So today's post is about her joy and the work she put in with great pleasure. Okay, he ate eggs after that :)))

Ingredients for the recipe of Minions painted eggs

  • 6 eco eggs
  • 1 sachet of blue paint
  • 1 sachet of yellow paint
  • self-adhesive eyes
  • a black marker

Preparation for the recipe of Painted eggs minions

Wash the eggs (on the shell, yes ?!) with cold water and a little degreaser. Clear them well. Put them in a saucepan covered with cold water and cook for 10 minutes. Remove them and dry them with an absorbent towel while they are still hot.

Separately in two saucepans prepare the special paint for painting eggs, with water and vinegar, exactly as it says on the package.

Now we will have to paint half the egg in blue and half in yellow. I pray as much as I can. Ours didn't turn out perfect, but they are absolutely adorable. In order to be easier to handle and to get our paint out evenly and without much hassle, we used two glasses in which we put a little paint. Then I put an egg in the paint, first in blue and then, conversely, in the yellow paint. I let the eggs dry and cool. As you can see from the pictures.

Then Miruna went on to decorate. She glued her eyes, drew them with the marker, exactly as she wanted. I didn't interfere, I didn't insist, I didn't want there to be straight and perfect lines at all. Everything she made, with her adorable gloves.

As I told you: it's not a recipe :)) it's an idea and fun. And I think it's worth praising her!

Just a few boiled eggs, a little imagination and a little sunflower oil & # 8230 The result is absolutely fascinating!

Egg painting is one of the most beautiful and fascinating traditions that brings the whole family together. There are some secrets to getting beautiful and original Easter eggs. The first secret is the imagination and the desire to paint in particular. The rest is just a matter of technique and skill.

Our team offers you 2 original methods of painting Easter eggs, which will become your favorites. In just a few minutes you will have on the table eggs painted in a rainbow style and with a marble effect. These methods are very simple and easy to do, and the result is surprising and pleasing to loved ones.

How to paint Easter eggs

Eggs painted in a rainbow style

INGREDIENTS

-5 food colorings of different colors

-a vessel for dyes and spoons

METHOD OF PREPARATION

2. Dissolve the dyes in glasses of water. Then wrap each egg in a napkin. The napkin should cover tightly the entire surface of the eggshell, without gaps.

3. Cover the work table with foil or use a tray so that the table does not get dirty with dyes.

4. Drip a few drops of each dye on the wrapped egg, one next to the other until the whole egg is covered with different colors. Thus the paint penetrates through the napkin and paints the egg chaotically.

5. When the napkin is completely colored, let the egg dry for 6-7 hours.

6. Then open the napkin. The rainbow-painted eggs are ready.

Marbled eggs

INGREDIENTS

-1/2 tablespoon sunflower oil

METHOD OF PREPARATION

1. Dissolve the dye in water, then add 1/2 tablespoon of oil and mix.

2. Soak the egg in the solution and turn it carefully with a spoon.

3. Remove the egg from the solution and rub it with a damp napkin. As a result you will get painted eggs with a light marble effect.

Old recipes - eggs painted in red onion leaves

Once upon a time, our grandmothers did not use dyes to buy to paint Easter eggs, but different plants for each color. The process was similar to dyeing wool. In my family, that's how I painted Easter eggs, where you say it's 100% natural and looks beautiful. The color red can be most easily obtained from dried red onion peels.

Recipe at a glance:

What do you need:

  • Red onion peels
  • Socks (nylon), square cut
  • Decoration leaves (eg curly or normal parsley, ivy, larch, dandelion, any other beautiful leaves found in the garden)
  • eggs, obviously

It is preferable to use white and smooth eggs on the shell, on which the paint sticks better and the contrast will be higher.

Peel the eggs and wipe well.
Take a decorative leaf, fix it on the egg, stretch it and tighten the sock well around the egg and tie it with string. The eggs thus tied are put in the pot in which the red onion leaves are already boiling and left to boil for about 15 minutes (a spoonful of vinegar can be added to the pot to fix the color, but I didn't use it, I don't think it was necessary).

As a benchmark, I had peels gathered from about 2 kg of onions and painted 30 eggs, but they could still be used.
When we think they are cooked, take out the eggs with a spoon, cut the sock and carefully remove the greens.

Naturally painted eggs for this Easter, with ingredients from the kitchen

Egg painting can be a creative and fun time in the family, especially if you have children. To eliminate some of the chemicals in our lives, we can try some ingredients from the kitchen. This way we will have naturally painted eggs. Of course, the colors as strong as the ones from the envelope will not come out, but that's not the idea. Nobody wants perfection when it comes to eggs, right? Fun is important and the special moment, in this Great Week.

Naturally painted eggs, but with what?

There are a few ingredients that most of us have at home. And if we don't have them, they're not so expensive that we can't put them in our shopping cart:

  • coffee
  • black tea
  • carrot
  • apple peels
  • lemon or orange peel
  • red onion leaves
  • Beet
  • Red cabbage
  • Paprika.

How to prepare the solution for naturally painted eggs

Ok, it takes a little longer than the egg paint version in the envelope. But I think it's worth the time, I stick to it.

The proportion for the shells is about 1 fist per cup. For powders (tea or coffee or paprika), about 2 tablespoons. So depending on how much water you have in the pot, measured with the cup, you put as much raw material.

Boil the water well with the respective herbs, until it becomes as dark as possible. Do not mix them all above, but you can try them in different containers. About 30 minutes should be the cooking time, after which strain the liquid from the herbs.

How to prepare eggs

The classic version & # 8211 is wiped well with a soft cloth, then with a cloth in solution with water and detergent (bio preferably), after which they are rinsed with another solution & # 8211 vinegar seems to help for the subsequent adhesion of the paint.

How to paint

Put the eggs in the solution and leave for about 20 minutes or as needed, for an intense color. Then take them out one by one, wipe them with an oil-soaked napkin.

They can be painted off the fire or on the fire. In variant 2, the egg is practically boiled in the paint, not before.

Have a large 3-5 liter pot and lots of paper towels on hand.

Okay, now all the detractors will come and say that these are not painted eggs, that they look like a terrible scoundrel and so on. Who cares? We don't take them out on the catwalk, we eat them, brothers and sisters. So only we and ours see them. So it really doesn't matter. Anyway, when I saw that paint that went all the way to the whites, it made me shiver.

Other ideas

I read on other blogs about how to get yellow eggs by painting them with turmeric and other cute ideas.

How do you make colors to get naturally painted eggs?

I leave you with a dedicated article, written 2 years ago: The woman and the Easter holidays. Between laughter and crying, but it's a slice of reality.

Turmeric is a spice that will give the yellow color to your Easter eggs. You can find it on the spice shelf and under the name turmeric.

You can also use boiled parsley or nettle leaves for the yellow color. Yellow onion peels may give the color of yellow and orange to Easter eggs. But, as I said, this is the charm of natural egg painting. Yellow is also obtained using chamomile tea, carrot leaves, celery seeds, lemon or orange peel.

For a yellow-green, you can leave the eggs in the water in which you boiled many yellow apple peels.
